Terms of service
These terms cover Lockwright, the password manager published by the operator of dexterity.works. They apply to the desktop app, the phone app, and the browser extension. If you use Lockwright, you agree to them.
Your vault is yours
Lockwright keeps your vault on devices you unlock. We do not hold a copy. We cannot reset a master password. We cannot restore a vault you lost.
You accept full responsibility for your own sensitive data. That includes passwords, notes, cards, identities, backups, and every device you install the app on. If a vault is stolen, leaked, corrupted, or gone, that is on you. Keep a backup you control. Test a restore on a copy, not on the only copy.
What we do not promise
Lockwright is a workshop product. Desktop installers are unsigned. The software is offered as-is, without a warranty. We do not promise it will be free of bugs, always available, or fit for any particular use.
The Secfault Security audit covers PearPass as it existed when we forked. It is not a promise about Lockwright after that date.
Origin
Lockwright is a community fork of PearPass. It is not affiliated with Tether Data or the Pears project, and they have not endorsed it.
Fair use
Do not use Lockwright to attack other people, or to store data you have no right to hold. You are responsible for how you use the app and for the law where you live.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page. The date at the top is the current version. Keep using Lockwright after a change and you accept the new terms.
